A Super Cleaner for Removing Oil Stains from Driveway

When you remove stain marks from your driveway, you expect cleaning marks on the way. You know that the cleaning agent you are using isn’t good at cleaning stains as you need scrubbing the stain after de-bonding it from the surface with the cleaning agent. 

Driveway dotted with cleaning marks would show the hard work you did in cleaning the way. Certainly your friends and guests would appreciate that you take care of your home but also they would wonder why you’re using ineffective cleaning agents.

The area that is cleaned becomes lighter in comparison to its surrounding area. It loses color and strength after coming into contact with cleaning agent. Chemicals in the cleaning agent remove oil mark but leave a permanent cleaning mark on the surface. 

The mark shows that the surface was stained and the stains were cleaned using a strong chemical. Prolonged cleaning with chemical rich agents could make the surface weak.

An ideal driveway oil stain remover would de-bond the compounds in the stain and in this way remove the stain from the surface. The user can easily lift the oil with the help of piece of paper or cloth preferably mop. De-bonding is a chemical process that removes oil from surfaces in a safe manner. 

Choose a super cleaner that cleans without leaving its marks on the surface. Choose the cleaning agent that is safe of your driveway. A chemical rich agent would remove the stains by tearing the oil compounds from the concrete. The process would make the surface weak in the long run.

Imagine you woke up one day and realised you knew how to solve the largest form of water pollution in the world. What would you do?

This is exactly what happened to me fourteen years ago when a customer asked me to get rid of the oil stains in their parking lot. I did some research and mixed up a batch of oil removing cleaners that would pull the oil out of driveways. Little did I know that there can be quarts of oil in one spot alone! WOW was I surprised when I made my own oil spill and watched my customer panic. 

After I plugged the drains and let the mess settle back into the parking lot I decided to do some research and found Professor Hall at the University of British Columbia whose research showed clearly that big oil spills we’re not the problem, it was the little drips and drops that were slowly but surely killing our aquatic system. We dump a 100 Valdez spills a year alone from drips and drops the largest source of which is in parking lots. The next time you go shopping have a look at all the oil. This is when I decided that I had to come up with a driveway oil stain remover. When I looked at the problem I realised we needed two key things to solve the problem.
